    No Name Bar

I heard the police shut down the music at the No Name Bar yesterday at 4:45 in the afternoon. What is going on?

HJ...I didn't hear about it...but it could be something very simple...licensing, compliance, etc...and that's purely one of many possible guesses.
Of course...unless the owner tells, us we don't know for sure.

This has been an ongoing issue for years. Neighboring businesses and residents complain about the sound levels and without the necessary permits, the music can be shut down.

We were visiting a friend a few days ago in the area and to be honest, the No Name Bar was a bit on the loud side. It didn't help that there seemed to be an amateur singer performing. Kind of like very loud karaoke. Not the best combination in the world...

At the time, I made a comment that they were going to be shut down again, and our friend agreed.

Apparently that happened at 4:45 yesterday.

    And so it goes...

Reminds me of Rexy when he had his setup. Had fun while there, not so much when trying to sleep at CFSG’s. I take earplugs just in case, though I’m usually F’d up enough to crash right out.
