It sounds like you think that you actually have a choice? LOL. I've stayed there many times, and which room you end up with is totally random. You get what you get, unless you pay extra for oceanfront or family room. Otherwise, they assign rooms as they become available. I also prefer the upstairs rooms, but downstairs rooms are fine also. Upstairs rooms have the beautiful ceilings, but you have to navigate the stairs. Downstairs rooms dont have the ceilings, but are closer, when you go back to your room for whatever....At Rooms, the main consideration is if everything in your room is working. :0)
