Guidance counseling needed
Who or where would i refer a recent hs grad for info oon the job training/exchange program that sends jamaicans to the us and canada to work in restaurants, work the strawberry fields, pick apples etc. Thanks

One option is to apply for a H-2B visa for the US. They will need a job offer from a us business in order to apply I believe. My Uncle has a house on Nantucket and there is a great group of Jamaicans working there every year as seasonal workers. They even have great patties at the Nantucket Bake Shop. Here is the info although i don't know whether they are currently accepting applications. Canada must have an equivalent program.

this would not work as he has no experience....thats what he's looking for. its hard for someone to look for help when he does not know what he's looking for. thiis young man is in a bubble and needs to break out of this island before it swallows him up.
