As Rob said, sunset is a very nice time to take a cruise up the river. I have also gone very early in the morning, shortly after sunrise, and it is a great time to see the birds. You will probably be the first up the river, so the birds often take wing as the boat approaches. One of the nicest things to do in Negril, imo
