I understand the Beach Club is undergoing a face lift!

Just stopped by and other than the normal slow time sprucing up, there is no real face lift.

Some of the units are being remodeled by their private owners so trying to get a picture would be inappropriate.

It's nice to see Jean in the main lobby now!

Yes, they are getting a face lift. I saw on Facebook that all the buildings are now painted white with gray balcony sides.....so no more colors. When I was there in February, quite a few units were being remodeled by the new owners.

LOL... The staff I talked to didn't consider the usual slow time paint job as a "facelift", I guess it all comes down to your perspective.

It didn't sound like there was any major landscaping or construction plans, just cleaning and clearing...

Last years summer rains caused the off season painting and general fix up to run right up to Thanksgiving. We were there for the final week and everyone was busting their b*tts off to get it all done. I’m sure they are trying to avoid that this year. We’ll be in Negril the end of September so I’ll check for improvements.

It’s great to hear a Jean is now in the main lobby. That empty dark lobby for the last several years had been depressing. I hope they can bring that property back. We’re booked for next February but thought that might be our last stay there. It was the first place we stayed in 1989 so we have very fond memories of the Beach Club. Jean and her crew are all fantastic!!

The usual slow time paint job includes the various colors for the different bldgs but now everything is white. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I'm glad Jean is now in the lobby but I will miss her small office on the side.

Nice to see some new paint. I have been trying to phone the front desk in the lobby(Negril Beach Club) in the last 2 weeks and haven't got through as it just rings or get a recording. The phone # I have is 876-957-4220. Is this correct?

Your number is correct but the phone line was down recently. I have been assured that it is now back up by the staff in the office so please try them again!
