I was day dreaming at work and looking at google earth satellite pics of 7 mile beach when I noticed new hotel/restaurant icons for Blue Sky Beach Resort/Alice's Kitchen next to the Boat bar on the beach. I clicked on the map icons, checked out the pics and it looks like the old Italian Restaurant location. Does anyone know any thing about this place and it's food? They have bands?
They have very recently opened, it's the old Maraposa property.

Yep that's Dana and Kurt. They have been wanting to open something up in Negril for a while now. They are avid sky divers hence the name Blue Skies. Good people, I met them a few years ago and have been watching their progress with the new property via Facebook.

Last time I stopped by it was definite work in progress. A picture or video would have been extremely unflattering.
I will stop by again and see how things are going now that everyone is done with the Dream Weekend.
