A bit of a storm last night in Negril.....

After watching the Ohio State Buckeyes crush the Wisconsin BADgers on Saturday in the late morning, early afternoon, we chilled out with the tropical rains falling continuously all afternoon. Towards 6 - 6:30 pm the wind picked up.....liierally.

Monsoon rains fueled with strong winds picked up the tent, tables, everything that the CoCoLaPalm had set up on their beach for the big Halloween party last night. The tent ended up protecting the restaurant roof instead of partying guests!

As the wind subsided but the rain continued, the staff had to scurry to make other arrangements for guest seating, the food buffet, the open bar which were all suppose to be in huts on the beach erected the previous day. They did a phenominal job and, with a liitle adjusting on the part of the 100 or so guests, the dinner and party went on without a hitch.

Kudos to the CoCoLaPalm for turning a potential disaster into a very enjoyable, although a bit crowded, evening!

I couldn't change the mispelled word in the title, Negril only has one L. Sorry

Agreed...they did a wonderful job. It was pretty chaotic with the winds. Can't beat the staff at Coco..

It seems that someone changed it for you. But you are right. In most cases I have fixed errors but am never able to fix the Title. Wish there was a way.
