Hi, Does anyone know if the NCB bank has opened at Boardwalk Shopping Village? And if it is, can you get JA$ from their ATMs?

Yep! I did it last April! (much better/safer atmosphere than the Scotia bank at the circle too)

Does anyone know if they are prone to running out of cash like the other ATMs around Negril?
Also, does anyone know the maximum withdrawals allowed or the approximate transaction fees at those ATMs or know if they show the fees? The NCB machine downtown doesn't show a rate when I've used it. There previously wasn't a transaction fee but I think last time I used it was $7 per transaction while Scotia has been free.

In April, the limit seemed to be $300 US or the equivalent in $J. I don’t remember what the fee was but it wasn’t that bad.

They allow $30,000JMD withdrawl at a time from the ATM. I believe the daily max is equal to US$500. I usually take out 2 withdrawals of $30,000 JMD at a time and with the current exchange rate at $138JMD=$1USD you're only taking out about $435US doing this. I think the charge was $500jmd per withdrawl. I found this to be, by far the best way to exchange money since I only get a 1% foriegn transaction fee from my bank (obviously, check with your bank to see what they charge). I've never had an issue with them running out of money at either the old Hi-Lo location or new location.
