We are definitely struggling to find beach accommodations with our last minute decision to go over Christmas.
Anyone have an comments on Bar B Barn? Jamaica Tamboo?
Our biggest requirement is clean rooms with working A/C, along with decent beach space. (Not like Legends). I know those 2 places are very close to Legends but I can't recall what they look like.

I don't know about the rooms but if I remember correctly, BBB has a smaller beach then Legends, and yes Tamboo is the next property north of Legends and I believe with a wider and slightly deeper beach.

I'm not sure what days you're looking at and your budget but on trivago Sat Dec 21st - 28th, I'm seeing Fun Holiday available then and for a few hundred more a week, Negril palms.

Also don’t hesitate to call the hotels directly. Just cuz trivago, Expedia etc say no availability you’d be surprised what they can do for you... voice of experience.

Well I found a place that would be perfect, but on internet says must stay 7 nights and we only need 6 more. Going to phone in the morning.

I like that end of the beach. If you like a good local vibe, check out Barry's (should be renamed to "LIz's" now ). Right next to BarBBarn (which has a good beach area BTW).

been in the rooms in both and their your typical budget accommodations….no problem
mi friend did a walk in this Summer and stayed at Bar b Barn for $5,000J and it included 2 breakfasts...….elcheapo

All booked now. Got a spot in a newer guesthouse across from the beach. Talked to the owner, can't wait to meet her - we had a great laugh on the phone.
