that's kind of a blanket statement, and not necessarily true in all cases ... of course if one doesn't KNOW someone, or has 'just met' them, i would agree. But if someone is in an established relationship, and plans their trip to include their significant other who is local, then of COURSE that person would be in the room with the traveler.can't imagine it's a good idea for any women travelling alone to let a man into her room, I dont care what the nature of the relationship is.
