Establishments open during Christmas holiday.

Anyone currently in the Seven Mile Beach area who can do a little homework for us? I want to do something special for Christmas day and I thought Drifter's sounded like a fun place to hang out. I messaged them to find out they will be closed on Dec 24, 25th and 26th. This made me a bit nervous and hope we don't find a lot of places closed for the holidays. That being said, I understand everyone wanting to be spend time with their families. I'll have mine with me so if it's patties and rum punch on the beach for Christmas dinner, then so be it!

Just heard back from Best in the West...they're open throughout Christmas.

in a nutshell lot places are open on Christmas and Boxing Day...…..
signs will be posted ahead of time if they will be closed....
during December they will also post signs about their Customer Appreciation Day......good deals
places that are closed are more likely to be foreign owned....like owners from USA, Canada etc....
taxi still running but maybe likkle harder to find like they are on Sundays.....
FYI - Christmas Eve and New Years Eve are huge party nights in Jamaica....true
also Jamaicans do the bigger part of their Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve day and night.....true
