I've been having fun reading all the responses to this question.
As for me, I just get into hotel and open my suitcase.
I throw the wallet/passport into the safe.
I put on my bathing suit and run straight to the water.
Sometimes I'm still tying the strings on my bikini while I'm sprinting.
There is nothing like that first dip in the crystal clear cool ocean water to mark the official beginning of a vacation.
