Maybe the change that is inevitable is actually market forces in action. I only have tried pizza in Negril once and that was nearly 20 years ago. I would go out on a limb and venture that most residents and Jamaican visitors of and to Negrl haven't even done it once.
Even if you added up all the pizzas bought by the boardites here it would only keep a couple of businesses flourishing since this is not a year round consumption. Pizza may be a popular choice where you come from but not so much in Jamaica. I would also suggest that if and when most Jamaicans do buy pizzas, it will be from an American Chain of Pizza Restaurants.
Yes, Angela's had good Italian food including (I guess) pizzas. Don't you think that if Angela's did a lot of sales that they would still be open? Restaurants become the "flavor of the month" and get good word of mouth support here on the boards until the next flavor comes along. I is hard to keep a restaurant in the eye of public. Many more will come and go and some will be those that are popular at this writing.
Just my opinion.
