Renting a Scooter

I realize there is a post going now on renting a car. We normally stay about 10 days. We were thinking of maybe renting a scooter a day or so. We have 40 yrs of Ohio experience but 0 on Jamaican beach rd or West End rd. Anyone have experiences they would like to share? Cost? I know they rent across from Catcha and down by the beach . Would appreciate any thoughts .

I can't give you a price but there is a rental near where I stay. It is beach road across from Alfred's called Conrod I believe.

SLP I do remember seeing that.we had thought for an afternoon . We will be arriving in slow season this trip.I'm sure a car would be safer. Thought it would be less hassle for an afternoon.
