Question re duty free arriving and also mega mart

Hello, we usually breeze by the duty free in the mo bay airport. Does anyone feel it’s a good deal to buy vodka or rum there ?
We have been stopping at mega mart as we like the variety of items.
Have wondered if purchasing beer there by the time you pay tax and deposit is really any better than buying at a shop like the shamrock. Any thoughts on that ?

Only place I found cheaper for beer would be the chinaman in the west end road. (I don’t think he charges deposit)
Also on the receipt is a litre of vodka . Hard to find a litre cheaper than that.
I think shamrock was charging 1050j per 6 pack of stripe.
