    Not Happy at Canoe

    Just went to Canoe for special wedding anniversary breakfast. We ate it and we paid for it but was not good because of bad service and manager was not there to discuss.

    We asked for two lobster omelettes but only brought one to me and did nothing for my wife. I was immediately concerned because I prefer jamaican custom of taking care of the ladies first. I asked for my wife to be served - waitress said “it’s coming” but it was very obvious that It was not actually coming out of the kitchen and that she started a new order. That ruined everything. I expect better from a major restaurant when I spend a lot of money for everything to be good.

    I can understand mistakes but I would have expected a manager or owner to come to us when I tell them I am not happy.

    have you since contacted the owner or mgr ?

    if you dont mind what was the charge? (just curious as as if would pursue it)

    I am still on site. And I would be extremely glad if I can say a manager or owner made it right.

    I don’t remember exact cost because that wasn’t the point. But I am sure two lobster omelettes, 2 bloody caesars, and 2 large carafes of coffee were several thousand j’s.

    And regarding question whether I since contacted manager or owner, their website appears to be Negril.com. So that’s one reason I voiced my concern here on Negril.com

    I suggest you delete this thread, and I really hope I can start another thread soon if I find something positive to say

    I think the thread can help others.

    I would suggest contacting Canoe directly. Patty and Kirby may not have a clue about your feelings.

    This could end up with a positive resolution.
