Those numbers were from the CDC and were in response to a previous post that stated those types of numbers as the death rate. Go look up information for yourself. I removed my post as I am not an expert or doctor and I'm not going to explain it to people who don't understand the difference in the statistic. There are plenty of knowledgeable doctors and lots of valid information that you can find, I no longer feel the need or interest in posting on this further.

We are scheduled to fly down on the 18th also. Trying to stay positive and not cancel my plans. I also don't want to be a part of spreading this virus around the globe. Going to wait until we are closer to see what's up.

Face it folks. it's a world gone mad right now. Irrational toilet paper and spam hoarding, people afraid to answer their front door for fear of getting infected. Half the world is shut down and the other half soon to follow. Guess we'll just have to hunker down until the hysteria passes. Traveling anywhere right now is a risk that many do not wish to take. Not just because of the virus, but you may be stranded for weeks, if not months. I can think of a lot worse places than Negril to wait this crap out, but that could get expensive. Besides, hotels and restaurants are closing, and entertainment is limited. I suppose I could smoke dope and drink Red Stripes all day, but I can do that at home. All our travel plans are on ice until the world gets back to normal, whatever that is.
Anybody who goes to Jamaica now considering the situation and circumstances is plain out of your mind crazy!!! Nothing about this pandemic is improving but is getting worse by the day everywhere. Do yourself and everybody else a favor and stay home!!!
