Thinking back and remembering what it was like when tourists were sort of a novelty around the island. Back when only a few people were making a living off the tourism industry. Now, tourism has taken front and center with a greater and greater segment of the population becoming taxi operators, owners and operators of guest houses and tour guides.

This works very well when there are tourists but not in times like these. We can only hope that it doesn't last too long.

Kind of puts things in a different perspective.
