    HOW DARE YOU! There was a Jamaica with no electricity , no running water, no phones. People grew their own food including rice (not imported). I lived it.

    I resent the your insinuation that the Jamaican people will not adapt.

    How can you so underestimate them?

    Your Jamaica may disappear for a while but mine never will.

    I was here for the Manley years and the election of 1980. We survived and went forward.
