Important information for visitors still here!

With most flights being cancelled, there is a strong likelihood that as a visitor still on the island you will be in Jamaica until June at the earliest. This would put many of you past the date stamped in your passport.

In order to remain legally on the island and incur no overstay fees and penalties, PICA (Passport, Immigration, Citizenship Agency) is asking that you call them at 876-754-7422 and set up an appointment to extend your stay. Even if you have already extended to maximum 180 days, PICA is making an exception to this rule and allowing you a further extension. This will not hinder your future plans to return this winter.

The cost for the extension is J$10,000 and the form can be filled out online.

It is advisable to call your country's respective embassy in Kingston and register with them so they can help with coordinating your reparation flight should there be any in the near future.

Stay safe and stay healthy and wear your masks!
