From the Observer:
"In a statement today, McNeill said “the insistence of the Opposition from the get-go that all incoming passengers be tested is only to ensure the protection of our people and safe reopening of our tourism industry.”
According to McNeill, the infected individual has been moved into isolation at a facility in Montego Bay.
“The Ministry of Health has assured me that all the contact tracing is currently being conducted and the necessary actions will be taken,” he said.
The spokesman said this development highlights the importance of testing of all visitors to the island."

Contact tracing, as we have mentioned in the past, is a not much discussed topic, but is an incredibly valuable part of the COVID infection equation. A recent returnee was self quarantined at home and still infected two members of his family. It is important to know who an infected person interacted with so to notify, interview and possibly test those at risk.
Out of an island of some 3 million, 10 COVID deaths have been reported up to the time of this writing. That figure is much lower than most of the world. Apparently the government measures have been working. By determining who the infected person has been in contact with during the time of the test at the airport and the positive notification is important. This is not supposed to be a hassle, just an empathetic nod to your fellow human.
So..... While waiting for your results, try to limit as best you can the number of people you come in very close (and lasting more than a few seconds) and try to remember who they may be. You don't need to memorize a name or anything, just make an attempt to remember a little where and when you were there. Our ganja is strong, but do your best....
