New curfew hours for most of the island.

Last night the PM increased the curfew hours to 9pm until 5am.

The existing 7pm to 5am hours in the high risk areas nearer to Kingston remain in effect.

Starts August 27 until September 30.

    Rob,

So does the curfew mean that the tourist has to just be on their resort by 9pm or in their room (with all bars/restaurants on the property shut down)?

Just be at your property. The bars and restaurants at each property remain open for their usual hours.

Essentially the government wants everyone, especially locals from having unauthorized gatherings later in the evening.

Covid doesn't move on its own, people move Covid around. Limiting hours of movement will limit the hours Covid can spread.
