New Travel Authorization Protocols

The new Travel Authorization protocols are being completely streamlined, there is no need to upload a Covid test. Here are the new requirements.

• Enter your email address. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to authenticate your account.
• Fill in the Personal, Health and Intended Stay in Jamaica information.
• Provide consent and declaration.
• Complete the Immigration and Customs Form (C5).
• Submit your application.

The changes to the JTB site have been occurring all day, looks like the FAQ section is being revised at the moment...

Rob not sure what my problem is but once you get the the password where do you put the info at? I have read the instructions over and clinked the link again but can't figure this out. Sorry if you have already answered this question.

Go to your email and retrieve the one time password, "OTP". Then go back the open page where you entered your email and enter the password.


This OTP will expire in 10 minutes. if this attempt was unsuccessful, please request for a new OTP from the site.

Ok thank you. Now all I have to do go back Nov. 2nd and apply! Covid test Thursday the 29th!

It appears that if you are from the US you don’t need to upload your negative covid test however you do need to get a negative covid test and present the test results at check in..

Check in to what? How recent does the sample test result have to be?

Check in at the airport. The test has to have been taken in the last 10 days before arrival in Jamaica.
