Every place is different. You will need to call your local Health Department and ask them about your specific area. Some places in this state you can just show up, drive through, or make an appointment and they are free. Here in my county you have to have symptoms and the Health Dept makes you an appointment to get tested for free but if you want to without them making you one you have to pay for it.
Indiana is free at Health dept but cost at a Dr. Office.
