Smith, you beat me to it. Flash at the Beach Club is really a pro. He's a true professional... polite, helpful, never gets riled, nasty, or on a power trip. He's just a good guy, a gentleman. Flash has been there for some time. He was there in the summer. Looking forward to seeing him again in February.

I have to say that night security Ray at Bar Barn is so lovely. I have stayed there twice this year and each night I spend some time talking with Ray and sharing stories. He always brings me some reggae CD's that he thinks I will enjoy and never asks for anything in return. He is a kind thoughtful man I am so thankful to have met him.

I have to also put in a vote for Michael at Legend's. He is probably the coolest Jamaican security guard you're going to meet. He always takes care of the guests, setting up umbrellas, chairs and he protects the beachfront area like it's his own backyard. We never have to worry about leaving our stuff alone, he's always social and has a cool Jamaican vibe. This is going to be our 4th time at Legend's because we've never had a problem and we love the staff. Mammmaaaa, I'm comin' home! (7 days!) :-)

My fav is Andrew at CocolaPalm. After the first Halloween party at Coco we gave Andrew a lite up sword for his kids. The next nite when returning from dinner there was Andrew at the gate waving us in with the sword. Don't know if the batteries were gone by the time the kids got the sword but the biggest kids had a lot of fun.

My favorite guard was DelRoy from Donaldsons. He hasnt worked there in years, but I stop to see him on every reach. My other favorite is Wilburn. He also works at Ossie jerk across the road. Good guy. He is more like the concierge than security. When he isnt working he comes with us as we go down the beach. Always has great stories to tell!

I really like Rambo at Seastar. Such a sweetheart to be such a big dude and definitely watches out for everyone. If I go way back, I always loved "Mr. Willie" that use to work the night shift at Xtabi. Always such a gentle man that took time to talk with you as well as making sure to walk you to your room if it was late. May he RIP!! He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Lindon at White sands has always been a great guy to chat with and never had anything go missing.

Remembering Glendon at Rondel. He was such a gentleman and looked out for my sister and I when we stayed there. The following year we dropped by to visit with him and he escorted us to Alfred's as our big brother. No-one hassled us when he was around. I was too sad when the following year I walked down to say hello only to find out that he was no longer with the living. Bad stuff happens sometimes and I was truly saddened with the news. Jono was and probably still is the other guard at Rondel, and also another gentleman.

Michael at BBB is one of my favs. Just talked to him the other day. The first time I stayed there, we nicknamed him "Mr. Roarke" (Fantasy Island tv show)!!
