Happy New Year and thank you for the kind words. I have worked most of the New Year's Eves of my adult life, either performing with my band, singing with the various groups at Ohio State or being a sound or light tech (=glorified roadie) or organizer for concerts and events.
Then in '97 I started doing the live webcasts from Negril and did that annually for 20 years.
The webcasts and chats were always a highlight especially when Mom came in to join us. I do miss her, she passed from a stroke she suffered on my birthday in 2017.
But even at 90 we all had a great talk that day (Lisa, me and her). She told us to go out and have a great time and we would tell her all about it the next day. That was not to be.
Well, once again have a happy new year! And Happy New Year Mom!
