Sadly, we don't see many migrating across the roads anymore...it felt like a really bad video game trying to dart the vehicle around them.
...and if you stop the car for them you could get "crab-jacked"!
Thank you all for the personal info. I'm 62 yrs old and have been crab free all my life, and certainly not ready to get 'crab shacked'. LMAO. Most of what was posted was on mind, but the crabs were not even on the radar! Not sure at this point what we're going to do. I owned a scooter down there for a number of years, but that luxury has come to an end. We'll probably rent a scooter for a portion of the trip and then rent a car for a few days to get my feet wet.
