Anyways, there's no coffee maker in the room (My GF usually gets it at the beach restaurant at 8am, when it opens). The restaurant seems to close around 10pm (especially in the busy season). As for security, they have it at both road side entrances and also on the beach. You'll get a blue wrist band at the office when you check in at the office for security. I never wear mine because a) The staff all know who you are by the first day and b) The room key in your pocket works as an ID too.

Sorry, non-coffee drinker here (which is why I'm always on the look out for Coke/No Sugar in Negril!), I know some of the White Sands faithful pack a mini kuerig to resolve the issue...
