Managed to drive a rental car from Mobay to Negril and after getting a predictable late departure from the Island Rental Car lot with a full tank of gas and an upgrade to a little jeep thanks to my complaints about how long it was taking to rent me the car, I found myself in Mobay rush hour traffic and driving in the dark well before entering Lucy.




I took photos of damage when I picked up the car.

Holy cow, I wrote a long thread about how I got messed with in Lucy, on my way from Mobay Airport to Negril beach hotel and then added a few pictures and posted but only the photos posted.

So I don’t want to write it all over again but if you are driving a rental car through Lucy beware of fake car accidents and attempts to shake you down.

Yes Car crash scams don't surprise me but I'm sure you could have done without the drama. I hope you had a great trip and hopefully you saved some girls in need of your help!!
