Nope, tourism is not a factor in this equation. When I spoke with the contractor, they were on schedule for a December opening. They have simply outgrown the old location, are tired of dealing with a leaky roof and are trying to get it the new Boardwalk location open as fast as possible.

I was informed by front of store staff Two days ago that Hilo are scheduled to move at the end of this Month.
That would be good news indeed. The contractors working at the new store told me the December date a few months ago.
Perhaps things are looking up!
