Is there anywhere to get authentic good jerk chicken/pork on the 7 mile beach that's easy walking distance from Travellers Resort?
Bourbon beach is probably the closest for walking or grab a route taxi and head to Best in the West across from Idle Awhile and Coco. Late in the day there are usually a couple of barrels on the beach road between you and Times Square but they have no pork.
It is a bit of a walk from Travellers, but the jerk chicken at Miss Lily's at Skylark is truly authentic Jamaican jerk. Their smoking and cooking process was designed by Jamaican born Chef Andre Fowles, a 3 time winner of the Food Network "Chopped" cooking show. The jerk chicken sandwich on their lunch menu has been the best jerk sandwich I have found anywhere on the island! I have not tried their jerk pork yet. I keep getting jerk chicken sandwich for some reason.

We usually go either to Smokey Joe's or Bigger Beachroad Restaurant. These are guys that are cooking from a barrel at the side of the road. Joe is across the road from the Grand Pineapple. We stop at Bigger (or Biggies) on the way in from the airport to Negril. You can find both of them on Google maps.
This is my wife with our Airport driver at Biggies.

Biggers is on the way in from the airport, not in Negril. If I'm correct it's in Green Island.
It's a bit of a walk from Travellers I would think.

Dru next to the Negril Beach Club has wonderful Jerk Chicken and lots of other great menu items.
