    This may not seem like much...

    But the Green Store (Quality Trader) has added Barcode Scanners throughout the store so you can check prices instantly before having to request a price check. Personally I find this a great advancement as the pricing seems to change week to week on items. Thank you Quality Trader!

    Wish our store in the States had those as their shelf tags are usually wrong and they blame COVID and lack of employees.

    IMHO, this is no small thing. I love to go to the grocery store almost everyday. I like to see what's new/fresh/on sale etc. This price checker is a great tool. My local store used to have magic wands attached to every cart. They would show prices and keep a running total of your items. If I am in positive frame of mind, a trip to the store via country roads is a mini-mental-vacation. Kudos to the Green Basturds! (term of affection from TPB)
