Got the South pillar at tensing pen for a few days and wondered if there is a grocery or convenience store within walking distance. Or if it's a better idea to ask our driver to stop on the way from the airport.
Any other input or tips on the cliffs would be appreciated as we've only stayed beachside in the past.

Right across the street at Wise Choice. Selection isn't huge, but they stock at least one of what everyone in the neighborhood needs.
For major selection, stop in MoBay at Progressive Foods in the Fairview Mall. It's on the way.

Ivan's at Catcha has great food and is a brief walk from Tensing Pen. From your veranda at South Pillar look to your left and you'll be able to see it. A little farther up is LTU, also great food, drinks and people. It's also within walking distance but a really brief cab ride. Enjoy the cliffs. Tensing Pen is a great spot.
Groceries are fairly high in Negril, so if you have a large list then stop in Mo Bay or Lucea. Otherwise Quality Traders (Green Store) is a short drive from your hotel and is right along the way if your driver from the airport wanted to stop.
