    Idle Awhile Cliffs?

Just underwent a lumbar laminectomy off work two weeks, then restricted for the next six weeks, then cases on calendar that can’t be continued. looking for extremely peaceful hotel. Tell me what it would be like to stay a week at Idle Awhile Cliffsthe second week of November.
I’ve always stayed at Idle Awhile Beach for the last 25 years. Going to be at there again in January

We have never stayed on the cliffs

Needless to say summer 2023 shot. Need some serious chill

My wife and I stayed at IA-Cliffs this past February, because we had a couple days before a room at IA-Beach was available. It was “Extremely Peaceful “.
Very remote, but very nice. We stayed in an Ocean Front Villa.
Ask here or PM me if you want specific info.

We almost booked Sea Grape. Very small, quiet property on the cliffs I hear good things about. 3 or 4 bungalows I think.
I spoke to the owner who seems like he's customer oriented. I'll be in Negril next week and will try and check out the property.

We have stayed at Idle Awhile Cliffs three times and will be staying there again in early December. It is a VERY quiet hotel with only seven rooms. We have stayed in both the ocean front villas and garden rooms and liked both for different reasons. There is a little bar and a restaurant on-site. There really isn’t much within walking distance. We have always taken a taxi to go out for dinner when staying there as the restaurant isn’t open late into the evening and we like to eat dinner on the later side. The property is well-run, the staff are lovely and it is super-chill.

JohnNYC...When you get to Seagrape, if no one is around ask for Bentley. He's been the caretaker for years and if he's not on property ask at the store across the street. Someone usually knows if he's around. When the place was being remodeled a few years ago I walked up there to check it out. He remembered me from previous stays and proudly showed me all the improvements being made. I have a lot of personal history tied to that place going back to the 1980's. But those are stories for another time...

I'll do that. I expect them to be closed. The owner mentioned not wanting to deal with Dream Weekend, and then the slow season. He would've opened a hut just for us, and therefor the customer oriented comment. I believe he occupies one of the bungalow. The visit is to sell my wife on the place. She's more of a beach bum.

Extremely peaceful- yes. Very nice pool area and the bar/restaurant is open from breakfast until 7ish. Same staff you know from Idle Awhile Beach rotates through. A little too quiet and remote for us, but perfect if you want "extremely peaceful".
