You should walk it although it is mostly uphill. Closer to ten minutes than five. Stay alert for and mind the traffic.
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!
I'm a typical New Yorker, so I walk fast by habit. My wife is always 20 feet behind so it feels like I'm in China.
