    The view from the Coward house is spectacular....such eye candy!....never even knew he was an artist...LOVED the pics of his studio AND of course Peter in the window is great too!....Thanks for the tour of Portland, Jackie!

    Loving this..Esp the inside pics of Firefly-When I visited it was closed..and your Folly ruins pics-some of the best I've ever seen by any photog....
    Portie must have been a quite the party place during the Errol Flynn years-can you imagine some of those parties???

    Pick up or borrow a copy of The Pirate's Daughter if you haven't read it yet....all that and more. I kept seeing it in my head when walking through the ruins on Navy Island, and everywhere in Port A.

    Thanks all for your comments, and thanks for the info on the book Liz.

    We sure loved Portie and all the beauty it had to offer. The last stop before Negril was Runaway Bay. We stayed at the 'Runaway Bay Heart Hotel' which has a culinary school at the property.( property name was being changed as we arrived to 'Cardiff Resort"

    The service was top notch and the dining experience was superb. ( we had expected this type of dining at GeeJam...but was pleasantly surprised with Runaway Heart) Will post the final photos later today...
