I enjoyed these Red Stripe lights with ginger this reach...





A couple of cold beers, and we order some conch soup and we took back some delicious sweet & sour chicken for our late lunch. We love take out food

We headed back down for sunset on the beach...and we had ordered curried goat the night before, even though it wasn't on the menu. They assured us that they would get it for us. We were lazy and dining in our room tonight...and they came thru with the goat!

Might as well enjoy room service when you can....Goat was delivered with a smile...

This is the end of Spratters Island Adventure...and I hope you enjoyed our likkle journey.

I know many have already travelled to Portie and back, but I thought we would share our trip with you and the highlights for us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your trip report was fascinating and the photos breathtaking. Sorry it has to end but no doubt you'll be back again soon. Have been thinking of selling my large home and acreage and downsizing, since all my kids are now grown, and you've really inspired me to follow through with that dream.

I am so glad that you all enjoyed travelling along with us. This trip has certainly changed how we view Jamaica, the places we can go, and how we NOW want to travel across the island. I was a bit nervous about the driving, but it didn't take long to get comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the laid back vibe on the North coast....great people and just a lot less hustling for our hard earned dollars.

We will no doubt be trying new places on our next reach....we most likely won't be returning until November again, as we are expecting two new grandbabies....a girl and a boy back to back in March. I think we will be quite busy in the spring.
