Hard to fathom why the Government would send White Sands a cease and desist order!!!

Tourism is such a huge part of the Jamaican economy. The apparent nonchalant attitude of the government must be somewhat disappointing for a lot of people.

It seems to be a general trend that governments are only acting in their own interests.
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!

    Idiocracy Fails! Sanity Prevails!

The nonsensical order to stop clearing the beach with backhoes has been rescinded! Cleaning was allowed to commence once again yesterday afternoon!

Its seems the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. I want to thank Mr. Lee Issa of the Idle Awhile and Couples properties for his assistance yesterday.

Yes, it was for everyone. Apparently NEPA forgot to write any rules for emergency procedures. Overzealous government officials at work who don't understand their jobs.

Firefly, Sunbeach, and Sandy Haven are cleaned up as good as possible for now. CoCo looked cleaned but mounds of sand yet to be levelled.

Looking the other way is not as good. The open area between Chances and FireFly still has 5' of seaweed at the water line.
