Go to Digicel and ask for an esim. To get back your number bring the old sim card in. Esims are just electronic versions of a physical sim card. A few years from now no one will have a physical sim.

Spanky, there is a Digicel right outside of the Arrivals Hall near the bus/taxi stands. Head left as you exit the doors and you will see a small strip of shops in an out building. You could also ask your driver to stop by a store on the way to Negril.
