Apparently, they are still working on the bypass pipe.

So, we took a glass bottom boat trip along the coast and up the North Negril River. Great trip, hot and sunny, but we saw this water leak on the main feed to Negril as we went under the bridge. This is the bridge by the "Negril" sign. That was in February some 16 weeks ago. About 4 weeks ago the replacement pipe showed up, just pushed to the side of the road on the bridge. 2 weeks ago the pipe got connected to the bridge and has now been painted, but there it sits. Water pouring out the broken pipe (broken in two places) and so the replacement pipe sits. I'm not sure what they are waiting on, but if this isn't an emergency I don't what is. I'll report back when I see some action on the new pipe, probably in about 2 weeks LOL
