Negril.com - For the vacation that never ends!
How can we donate? Or can we buy school supplies from the stationary store at the plaza by the runabout and donate?
I'll be there in 3 sleeps. She can get me while I'm flush, before I eat, drink and smoke my $ away. Not necessarily in that order.
I was just talking to Sheree. They have most of the supplies needed and will go out next Saturday to distribute. She said they are staying close to Negril and helping as many families as possible, hopeful as many as 200 children. She did say that they only have about 30 back pack bags for text books and papers, and will do a lottery with the children. Win the lottery (spinning wheel kinda thing) and win a back pack bag, but less than 15% will win. I can't imagine the disappointed little faces when they don't win. I'd like to get more back packs for these youngster's and have checked out some wholesale locations in MoBay. What I can't get is a price per as I'm getting a bit of a runaround. I will go to MoBay early next week to get some answers. If anyone would like to help, please give a shout out on this thread and maybe we can get more backpacks.

Count me in. I?m on the rock now, or can Venmo or Zelle $
I have found a wholesale warehouse in MoBay that has school bags in stock. I will drive in on Monday or Tuesday to have a look. I'm going to get 30 bags myself because this is such an important endeavour. If anyone wants to help out with, say 10 bags, the cost will be around $50USD to $68USD for 10. I will make sure that everyone that help will have there names on the boxes when I turn them over to Lee or Sheree at The Country Store.
