Sun Beach has always been our hang out spot. Good place to chill and most of the time a good vibe. Sometimes you have to go up ask them to put some tunes on but they always do. Shade and umbrellas if you wish or just sit in the blazing hot sun. It's been a little rainy here especially in the afternoon. Funny fact, when the rain comes and the air cools down a bit, jump in the ocean and the sea temperature is warmer than the air temp. Fire Fly would also be a good beach choice. Good happy prices and you might even get a Rob sighting.

I second Sun Beach. We met a couple of good people there recently and had a great time. Rain came but didn't slow us down any.
Sunnyside isn't a bad place to down a few beers either. Both places have ice cold beer at a fair price, and pleasant staff to talk to!
There's a chance of a Rob sighting at any bar.

We've stayed on the west end for years now. But for beach days it has come down to Sun Beach and Travelers for us. Sun Beach just to hang and Travelers for beach side food and hang.

I like Travelers swim up bar. It's the best pool setup on that end of the beach in my opinion.

It's a nice pool bar - I wish Negril Beach Club would do something similar. Travelers will allow non guests to use their pool as long as you buy food and drinks.

Yes, it definitely is. There were talks in the past about redoing the pool at NBCC but now with ownership being all split up between private owners, NBCC, Jean's operation, Sand and Blue Seas, etc...I don't know if they'd ever be able to come to agreement. It's kept clean and I like that it has an old school deep end but with the bar being down by the beach now and the one by the pool not really tended I usually bring a cooler down. Travellers has always been cool with me going there though. I just holler at the bartender and ask if they'll serve drinks to me over at the swim up bar and they usually turn some music on for me too. Great place to spend an afternoon especially if the ocean water is rough or brown after a rain.
