Customs X-Ray Machines

On our last stretch a couple of the customs lines were using X-Ray machines. We always bring items for our Jamaican friends, has anyone had an issue with these X-Ray machines and not declaring?

Nothing is guaranteed, but when I use Club MoBay on arrival, they have their exclusive customs desk and so far, no x-ray machine.

"Flying into Montego Bay, bringing in a couple of gifts, don't check my bags if you please Mr. Customs Man!!!"

We've used Club MoBay arrival a few times, but now we tend to fly on Tuesdays and the immigration line just doesn't back up the hallway like we've seen before (jinx).. difficult to justify the C-Note. We do use departure service with PrioirtyPass when possible. Bypassing x-ray is something more to think about.
