Tuesday Morning on the west end.....US election day

We woke up this morning to steady rain, then a pause for a while with a nice cool breeze. By 9 AM the rain started heavier and the winds kicked up. 11 AM now and the winds are getting stronger and the rain coming in sideways. Trees are really moving but nothing has come down. Electric has gone off a dozen times or more but comes back on, sometimes just seconds later. Internet off for a short spell too. Funny thing is that the ocean looks really calm. I expected huge waves pounding the cliffs but that doesn't seem the case at this time. No photos today and I'm glad we have some food left from the meal last night.

Seems like conditions are improving today. Am thinking of heading to the beach as none of the chairs are out at Catcha.
