I was fortunate enough to see the green flash once quite by accident. Sitting on the rocks at Sea Grape, beverage in hand, watching a brilliant sunset on a cloudless horizon. It's a shock to the eye sort of like a flash bulb but not nearly so bright. If I had blinked at that instant I would have missed it. I can still see it in my mind's eye. Some people say the green flash is a myth but I know better.
