Have been hearing negatives about Best of the West. Where is good jerk near Treehouse ?

Hello Browser, the last time we were in Negril was May and we ate at Best in the West 3 times in 10 days, and that doesn't count a couple of quick stops to grab some soup. We loved it, their version of jerk chicken was very good, personally I am a big fan of their sauce, I had the oxtail one night and it was good, I was thinking Badnaz had a rasta pasta there also and loved it? Their soup is incredible, quick, hot, and great size to share for a quick snack to tide you over til dinner. They're open late also if your late night dinner people like we are, I think 10pm. Service was good and by end of our short trip some of the staff remembered us and were awesome to visit with. Will say prices are a little steep. We recommend it.

We ate and had take out multiple times in August, with no complaints. Everything from Jerk chicken & pork, to oxtail and soup. Their Rum Punch is great and very strong. For roadside, we like the guy in front of Kuyaba. A bit of a walk, but we think it's worth it.

Best in the West is fine if you just want to walk somewhere nearby. I like Smokey Joes in that area too. Otherwise hop in a taxi and go to Kool Vybz in the west end. In Negril that is my favorite. If I have more time I also like going to Border Jerk up in Ramble which is about 50 minutes from Negril up in the mountains.
