While talking with our Red Ground friend Markie, I asked how Tango was doing. He told me that he passed away recently and his wake was about a month ago. As we were walking from downtown up toward tank hill we passed a cemetery on the right and Markie said he was buried there and gave the approximate location. He was known by his Jamaican nickname Tango. He often was close to the Scotia Bank on his motorcycle and would transport people back and forth to Red Ground for a few bucks. I first met him when I wanted to take a trip into Porter's cave and down to the water in a sub cave. Markie wouldn't go down to the sub cave so he introduced me to Tango. He was the nephew of the Red Ground legend El Presidente who took me "down to the water" back in 1973. The photos are from our 2009 trip in the cave. He was fairly small in stature and had short white hair. I last saw him a year ago. I am not sure about his last name but just spelled it how Markie pronounced it.
