I've heard that you can buy a Digicel SIM card on arrival at Sangster's? Is this a good idea for making local calls during our stay?

It worked well for me, I waited until I got to Negril and went to digicel at roundabout, cost me about $30 for a monthly plan ( I was only there for 2 weeks so $15 a week) I got 65GB data, 1000 local minutes & 100 international minutes. I liked the idea of not relaying on local wifi to use whatsapp
additionally when rafael blew through, I hot spotted my phone and was able to watch TV while it pissed rain
as always YMMV
