Thanks to original Spanky's question post about Le Tabernac, we gave it a try yesterday. It's easy to find if you know where to look, but hard if you don't know. It's right beside Zion and across the road from Negril Palms. Big colourful Le Tabernac sign on the road. Way at the back is the pool and bar. It was service with a big smile and the Red Stripes were icy cold. The Quebec-style hot dogs were just hot dogs but the buns were to die for. The authentic Poutine was in fact authentic, with fresh cut Jamaican potatoes, cheese curds shipped from Canada, and the best gravy I've ever had. The special of the day was 2 hot dogs and 1 poutine for $1500J and the beers were $400. Almost rainforest like area that is very quiet. If you're looking for a place to hang and have a conversation but don't want to hear road noise, this might be the place.
