    Tensing on monday?

Back in Negril after a five year hiatus!

Looking forward to hitting all the usual spots, anything new we should be checking out?

How?s the weather? Should we be expecting hot, partly cloudy and a shower or t storm every afternoon? I can?t trust these weather sites 🙂

    Respect to all!

    Vp,

It will be great to have you back on the island!

Thinking back 5 years, pre-COVID, many places changed names but are still essentially the same style of business. The best happy hour has to be the noon til 2pm daily bargain at Firefly. Ref Stripes and a selection of food items like coconut chicken and wings at great prices.

Vinny's new location on the West End, which starting there and going further west you will find numerous new places along with old favorites!

We seem to be in the "season" of the absolutely gorgeous mornings, with rain clouds coming in by 2 or so. Typical tropic weather.

    See you soon!

Thank you for the replies. Can’t wait much longer! Sorry for jumping on here after several years and just unloading a bunch of questions.

Any tips for good places to post up on the beach? So fireflies? We used to stay at beach House villas a lot And would set up there…

We like Travelers and Sun Beach. Both have the "old" Negril vibe and I believe both are locally owned. No hassles and food at Travelers makes for a great lunch under the sea grape trees.

If you're bored on a rainy afternoon, hitting Rudy's Backyard Bar (across the road from Alfreds, down a path next to Golden Sunset) is a chill vibe with some good food.

Welcome back... We have stayed at Tensing numerous times but have been staying at Catcha for the last 12-14 years... We usually go to the beach a couple of times and always at Fire Fly.. Great lounges.. Always shade.. Great happy hour.

I hope I am not too late, but a new "not miss" is the old Sunshine Village Plaza. The new Country Store is great and the food court upstairs is a blast!
